RTE 153 BEACH PLANTING PHASE 2 – JUNE 30, 2026

Hi All,

As most of you are aware, we have been awarded some grant monies to place a vegetative buffer along 600 feet of the beach on Rte 153.  This buffer helps reduce pollutants from getting into the lake.  We completed 300 feet of this last year and will finish the rest this year.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

See the flyer below on timing and how to volunteer.  Please consider joining some of your fellow lake goers and come and help for any amount of time that you are able to on June 30th.

Regards,

The PLA

CYANOBACTERIA WARNING REMAINS – AUGUST 28, 2024

Hi All,

After the very bad lake water this past weekend and multiple reports being sent in to NH DES, DES has decided not to resample this week and leave the warning as it is.  Not surprising as the lake was in bad shape this past weekend.

Having said that, the last couple of days has shown a very good clearing.  Much much better and with not a lot of rain forecasted, we hope it will remain good for the long weekend ahead.

But, as always, blooms can occur at any time and everyone must pay attention to how the water looks and make their own judgement on whether or not to go in.

Regards,

The PLA
